RP Recovery is owned by Ron and Dee Pullen. Ron has more than 40 years of experience in the towing and recovery field, owning and operating light, medium, and heavy duty service stations since 1971. In the late 1980s he participated in towing and recovery training, and continued to attend as many additional courses and seminars as possible. He was named Student of the Class at the 1997 2/3 WreckMaster course in Syracuse, NY and voted one of the Top Ten WreckMasters of 1998. The 2006 WreckMaster of the year, Ron uses his training and skill in his position as Operations Manager at Big Red Towing LLC, Syracuse, NY.
Both a WreckMaster Certified Operator and WreckMaster Lead Instructor, Ron uses his experience and training to upgrade the knowledge and skills of Big Red Towing employees and other workers in the field seeking further knowledge and training in their jobs. Professional workers that use the best equipment and products make towing and recovery safer and more efficient.
Ron was introduced to Sonetics Wireless Hands Free Head Sets in 2009 and quickly recognized the value they delivered to workers in the towing and recovery industry. Wearing the headsets makes workers more efficient. There is no longer a need to holler at one another and get worn out using arm motions such as pointing, waving, and opening and closing fists to indicate what needs done. The headsets also allow a professional appearance on the work scene. Incoming and outgoing verbal communications through the sets are clear and concise. There is less need to climb up embankments and back down to notify wrecker operators and other members of a recovery crew about the current situation. The convenience of communicating with Sonetics equipment adds to the safety and success of the operation and personnel.
