The fall market is in full swing and buyers are starting to scoop up inventory.
Inventory is up almost 80 percent on condo listings, and condo price reductions are up 80 percent over this time last year. Overall, inventory is up about 40 percent in San Francisco, and sales in the city are up between 9 and 10 percent over last year—a result of this increased inventory, but this won't last.
Many sellers stop listing properties the first week of November and don't start again until next year. If you are thinking of buying, don’t wait. Buyers that have been sitting on the sidelines are starting to scoop it up.
