A moment of silence for the addict who will pick up for the very first time tonight, not knowing what they are getting themselves into, and for the addict who will pick up for the very last time and never wake up.
FYI, the relapse and overdose rate has increased by 30% since March 2020. Mental health issues related to our lockdown and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression.
NAMI, The National Alliance on Mental Health have a 24 hour helpline: 800-950-6264.

I don’t know how to really get this point across to sound right but hear me out! I have always been the type of person that has looked at people that are addicted to drugs and said “It’s simple Don’t do drugs”! I recently met what i considered a friend and this guy would do anything in the world for you but he did have an addiction problem! To be honest through him I realized how bad some of these people hurt inside and just can’t kick the habit because it consumes them to thinking about it all the time. This person is now gone and I will miss him daily but I guess my point is when you see some of these people realize a lot of them have situations that you could never imagine and most of them hurt inside daily.
