When first news of COVID-19 reached our area earlier this year, so many of our regular routines had to change abruptly with little certainty for the future. Over the past six months, our practice has continued to evaluate how best to keep taking care of our patients while minimizing our own impact on the spread of the virus. At each evaluation point, continuing our Carside Service has remained the best solution.
We ask that pet owners call ahead to schedule pet care or product pickup, then call again upon arriving in the parking area for further assistance. A staff member will ask patient history questions over the phone and also outside the clinic; only pets are permitted in the building. The Technician/Assistant will then coordinate the pet’s exam with a doctor, and a doctor or staff member will follow up further by phone while the client is waiting in their vehicle or at an outdoor bench, maintaining an appropriate distance from others.
For clients that find this process to be difficult, we’d like to gently remind you that we also wish we could safely accommodate a full lobby of smiling faces and friendly pets. While accepting such changes as necessary during this pandemic, we still approach each day and each patient with a sincere effort to offer our best care. To our loyal and supportive clients, we extend our sincere appreciation; your kind remarks help us remember why we do this work.

Keeping your pet on regular monthly heartworm prevention can also minimize intestinal parasite infections. If you're not sure whether your pet is protected, call the office and we can help by reviewing your pet's records.

Bark For Life Naples Pet Costume Contest
It’s our 10 th Anniversary!
We opened our practice in July of 2010, and introduced ourselves to the neighborhood with an Open House event in October of that year.
We’d love to have a party to celebrate and say “Thank You!” to all of our loyal clients — but such a gathering right now just wouldn’t be a wise choice.
Instead, we are marking the occasion “virtually” with a little Halloween spirit by sponsoring the Bark for Life Pet Costume Contest.
Please visit the Bark for Life Naples website at www.relayforlife.org/barknaplesfl and the Bark for Life Facebook page to learn about all the events planned for this fundraiser. We hope you’ll join the party by uploading your pet’s photo and vote for any other photos that make you smile!
It’s been a privilege to work with you for the health of your pets.
Of course that's the answer.

Our office is closed from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Tuesdays for staff meeting and training time. Incoming calls will not be answered during this hour, but messages will be returned after 2:00 pm. If you need to pick up food or medications, please plan your arrival before 1:00 pm or after 2:00 pm.
For those who have received a vaccine for COVID-19, we send our congratulations! Until many more can join this group, our state and local case reports will remain a concern. For all pet care and product sales, we are continuing our “carside” service. All traffic is increased at this time of year! Please plan extra time and extra patience for your drive as well as for us to provide the care your pet needs. (All thanks to Bernie and Photoshoppers everywhere!)
