Heaven gained an amazing woman today. Terri Clark is someone I admired tremendously as she served the Lord with all her heart. I first met Terri many years ago when she was authoring a book for blended families titled, "Tying the Family Knot". She interviewed us for a Biblical perspective on financial management for blended families. She had a heart for missions and was often traveling to Africa to meet the needs of others. Terri loved the Lord and loved others, as was evident from her selfless acts of service. We rejoice in her faithfulness, as she ran the race well. We also ask that you join us in prayer for Terri's family as they go through this time of loss. - Todd Sadowski

What Parents Pay to Raise Kids
Many of you may not realize that one of our Advisors, Terry Bewley, has been serving our country and our clients while deployed to New Orleans this year. Terry is a Chaplain with the US Navy and had to once again adapt to being stationed away from his family, but he's also had to do so amid a global pandemic, a volatile political climate, and four hurricanes that affected that area—one of which was a direct hit (eight hurricanes that were predicted to affect them).
Circumstances such as this are only a few of the many challenges our Military Members face as they serve, honor, and protect this great nation. We are grateful today, and everyday, for the sacrifices made by our service men and women. Please join us in thanking our Veterans for their dedication to our great nation!
My heart is heavy today as I mourn the loss of a very special woman. Susan Funderburk worked with me for 13 years before retiring in 2014. I can't begin to convey how much influence she had on my life. She was my "Work Mom". Susan was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and loved others unconditionally. Many of you, our StrongTower family, were blessed to witness her kindness and integrity first hand. She was so strong as she leaned on the Lord. Even when her world seemed to be falling apart, she would look at me and ask, "Todd, how can I pray for you today?" I can honestly say that I'm a better person today just from being around her. Her servant leadership spoke loudly, even if her physical voice was sweet, soft, and patient. I saw God work in Susan's life and I aspire to be more like her. I mourn today, but I also rejoice in knowing I'll see her again. Susan, you ran the race well. I'm sure when you came before the Lord, He said, "Well done, good and faithful servant"!
