Children's Homily for Sunday, October 4, 2020. A message about St. Francis's love of animals and people, and of his prayer for peace.
It is with sadness tempered by our faith in the hope of resurrection that we share the news of the death of Fr. Charles Moore, XIIth Rector of Saint Mark's. Fr. Moore led the parish from 1982 to 1995. They were hard days for our city and for our parish, but Fr. Moore has been remembered for his warmth, grace, and pastoral touch. There is no information available at the moment about funeral plans, we'll share such news when it becomes available. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.

Two Saturdays a month we gather with our youth on Zoom to play virtual games for an hour. Lately we have played an online game called “Among Us.” Its a strategy game where there is one imposter unknown to the other players. As the imposter attempts to remain undiscovered, the other players must group up to figure out who the imposter is. In the near future our gamedays will hopefully be outdoors in person. The kids always have a fun time, and they continue to show us how smart (and sneaky!) they are 😇
