Due to the widespread outbreak of COVID-19, Saline County Children’s Dentistry has updated some of our daily procedures. You'll still receive the same exemplary service from our dedicated team, however to ensure the safety of all our patients here are some changes we have implemented:
Please complete the attached COVID-19 treatment consent form and the attached updated medical history form prior to your appointment. If you have more than one child with an appointment, please complete a health history update for each child.

When you arrive, please call or text our office from your car. We will call you when our staff is ready to begin your appointment. We will take your temperature when you enter the building. Parent/Guardian and patient must be wearing a face mask at all time in the in office, so please be sure to bring one. Also only the patient and responsible party are allowed in the treatment area. Please do not bring friends or other family members to your appointment.

So creative! If you’ve been in the office you know there’s always a fun Disney or Pixar movie playing for the kids. The team picked their favorite characters for Halloween.
The easiest way to prevent cavities is to avoid excess sugar. (The next step is brushing and flossing twice a day for two minutes.)
As construction on the hospital continues, we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel! Our main entrance is still blocked, so please continue to use the entrance by Bone & Joint or the one by Fulks Family Dentistry off hwy 5.
Have you ever seen an adult tooth growing in behind a baby tooth? It’s called a “sharks tooth,” and it’s completely normal (but maybe a little strange to see).
Our office will be closed beginning tomorrow to allow our staff to celebrate with their families. Have a safe and happy thanksgiving! We can be reached on the Facebook page for emergencies if needed.

Sneaking in our November Employee Spotlight, Amanda Strack!
Amanda is a recent graduate from Arkansas State University with a degree in Health Studies and is now back home living in Maumelle. When she’s not working, she’s looking for a new Netflix series to start, playing with her spoiled cat, Gypsy, or FaceTiming her boyfriend in Denmark! Amanda is one of our dental assistants who was trained in house by staff, and in the upcoming fall she plans to continue her education by applying to dental hygiene school. We’re so glad to have her here.
Whether it’s a new electric toothbrush or just a standard one in their favorite color, a toothbrush is a great stocking stuffer!
You guys are fast! We’re going to be doing more fun contests until Christmas, so stay tuned! 🎄🎅🤶

Enjoying a little Christmas cheer! Dr. Farmer and Dr. [Kathleen] Marks brought in hot cocoa bombs for the staff to enjoy today!
After all the guesses, three people got it right! We drew from those names and Monique Goldsmith is the winner. There are 23 monkeys painted all over the office. Congratulations Monique!

Dr. Farmer kicks it off as our team gets vaccinated against covid-19. Just another way we are helping protect our staff and our patients.
This year has been tough, why not focus your New Years resolutions on something you can actually control? Challenge your family to brushing 2 times a day (for a full 2 minutes) and floss at least once a day.

A quick update on the roads. Crews are still out working trying to get as much cleared as possible. A lot of the main roads are showing improvement but there are still some very slick side roads and neighborhood roads. As we have been saying all week, if you must get out, just be careful and take it slow.
Please be patient, I know everyone is sick of staying at home, but I assure you our city road crews are working as hard as they can to get the streets cleaned up.
As always stay safe, stay warm and remember, spring is just around the corner.
We added a few pictures to show you how things are looking. Our drone batteries were getting low so I had to recharge them. Sorry I wasn't able to get more shots around the city.
It doesn’t look like this snow is going anywhere soon. We are calling it for the week. We hope to see everyone next week when it’s safer. Stay warm!

Elie had an incredible time at her dental appointment. She thought we were in a jungle with dinosaurs & other wild animals. Her imagination was going & she enjoyed everything. She had x-rays, her teeth counted, & she also brushed them with her new frozen toothbrush. She was spoiled with attention & some surprises on our way out. Elie was a trooper & did so good following instructions and being brave. She always amazes me at how well she does.
Seriously though, this has to be the best children’s dentistry! They were amazing with Elie and making sure it was a fun experience. Elie will be so excited to go back in 6 months.
