I was raised in Payette and was made aware of a need. A citizen of Payette is in dire need of a new roof and has set up a Go Fund Me asking her community to support her because she was unable. I asked my Sweet Husband, since he is a contractor, if he would consider going driving to Payette to look at this roof. Long story short, I knew this woman. Most of us know this woman...she is kind and really a mother type figure to many of us in the community. My Husband looked at her roof and People of Payette!! Her roof is rotted and will not make it through another storm (rain or snow). My Husband has offered to tear the roof off and build a new one (wood, shingles, and all) (as in the roof is leaking indoors) as an act of love and service but the supplies are going to run around $5000. I won’t be ok safe and warm in my home this Winter knowing one we know is not safe or warm and dry. Will you all consider helping her?
