Samarkand Kennels will remain closed until April 30, 2020. We will await further guidance from Governor Whitmer as to when we may resume operations. Everyone stay safe and well.

Samarkand kennels is closing until April 13 by executive order of Governor Whitmer. We hope to see everyone on the back side of this mess. Understandably we have not been getting many boarders due to travel restrictions but our loyal daycare and grooming clients have continued to support us and we cannot thank them enough. All of our staff is on lay off so I have been doing it alone. This kennel has been part of the community for 50 years. We are going to try to keep this business viable with an SBA disaster loan. The uncertainty of all of this is the worst. Stay well, stay strong.
