Sam is a compassionate, dedicated provider who aims to give patients the tools they need to build healthy habits and live full, active lives. He takes a comprehensive approach to medicine, with everything from sports injuries to nutrition, and talking through decisions with patients and helping provide lasting insights into their health. Outside of work, he enjoys experiencing the culture of the city; listening to live jazz, going to festivals, and walking the lake with his wife and kids. He also volunteers for the Chicago Marathon. Sam keeps himself in good shape by practicing yoga, playing tennis, and running regularly. Sam is fluent in Hindi and happy to see patients who speak the language. After graduating from Manipal University, he completed his residency in Family Medicine from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine from The University of Chicago. He is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
