Hello, and welcome to Nourish Your Life.
My name is Sandy Kipp and I’m so glad to meet you here. My hope and goal for you is that you will find health through the adaption of healthful habits which include nutrition as well as active, stress-free (or more appropriately, stress-managed) living.
My journey with health and nutrition began in early childhood with a mother that promoted wheat germ, brewer’s yeast, and two vegetables every night for dinner. However it wasn’t until I had children of my own that the concept of food as a foundation and as building blocks to a long, healthy life really solidified. It was from that point, back in 2002, that I began learning, growing, and seeking education in the field of nutrition.
During my years of education I dreamed of helping others with their health through diet, and I believed that food had the power to change a person from the inside out. I still believe this concept except I’ve taken it a step further. Toward the end of my Master’s degree I learned of a certification to help people with food hypersensitivities; I also learned that these food hypersensitivities could manifest themselves in numerous pain and inflammation disorders, including migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, auto-immune disease and fibromyalgia, just to name a few.
I couldn’t resist, so promptly following graduation from my master’s program I began my education in food hypersensitivities and became a Certified LEAP Therapist, enabling me not only to utilize my nutrition education, but also to help clients tap into the great mystery by which foods are making them sick.
It’s been several years now of working with patients to overcome symptoms of chronic illness, assist with struggles in weight loss or gain, and to counsel in other food related issues such as blood pressure and cholesterol, and to teach healthy lifestyle so that they can reach and maintain their health goals. It’s been an honor to walk with these brave men and women.
I look forward to meeting you and setting goals for you to become the most vivacious, healthiest you!
