Dr. Sarah Tucker Price is a family physician who seeks to provide high quality primary care to individuals and families of all ages including cancer survivorship care. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from Yale University and her Medical Degree and Doctorate of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Price completed residency training in family medicine at the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency in Charleston serving as Chief Resident in her final year of training.
MUSC Health Primary Care is pleased to offer primary care services exclusively to the patients who are newly diagnosed or undergoing treatment at Hollings Cancer Center. We understand that patients’ health needs go beyond cancer care. Throughout a patient’s cancer treatment journey, the primary care physician is an important resource for cancer and non-cancer related illnesses, pre and post-operative care, and recognizing and managing complications of cancer care.
Dr. Tucker Price is a board-certified Family Medicine physician, which a special interest and training in the care of cancer patients and cancer survivors. Dr. Price will help provide a continuity of care for our cancer patients while also conducting clinical research on opportunities improve cancer survivorship care through primary care.
