Sawatdee Thai Restaurant

Located on Washington Avenue in Downtown Minneapolis, Sawatdee Thai Restaurant began in 1983 as the first Thai restaurant in the five-state area. Minnesotans were intrigued by the sweet, sour, bitter and salty taste combinations found in authentic Thai cooking and cuisine. Over thirty years and six locations later, Sawatdee has become a Twin Cities favorite. Each location offers slightly different menus to reflect the preferences of people in each area, but all who dine at are celebrities and are treated with love, respect, and peace. Specialties include a lunch buffet Monday - Friday from 11 am - 2pm, Rama Thai Delight, Pad Thai, and a Tail of Two Cities.

Our beautiful warehouse-turned restaurant on Washington Avenue has a great Happy Hour daily from 3-6 pm and offers delivery to the Downtown Minneapolis and University of Minnesota area. Sawatdee also offers complete full service catering to the greater Twin Cities area including weddings, graduations, parties and more.
