Scalli Murphy Law, P.C. is pleased to announce the launch of our new website.
https://www.scallimurphy.com
Aside from providing important information and guidance to injury victims, we wanted the website to contain great photographs of Boston, Massachusetts.
Boston, specifically Charlestown, is near and dear to our heart as our original office was located on Main Street. The great people of Charlestown, Everett and the surrounding communities trusted us time and time again to guide them and help their families through difficult situations and tragedy. Their support in turn, helped us recently celebrate our 26th anniversary. Thank you!!!
Enjoy the website. Hopefully, none of you will need our services however should you or a loved one be injured as a result of someone else's fault, we would be honored to represent you and hold the at-fault party responsible. Be well.

Rain, snow, ice or all of the above? Forecasters never seem to know.
What we do know is... all of the above greatly increase the likelihood of vehicle collision and slip and fall events.
Please, please, please stay off the roads and indoors this weekend.
If you must venture out wear bright colors, shoes with grip and make sure your headlights are on at all times.
While we love helping the great people and families we represent through difficult times, we would prefer none of them were ever injured or lost a loved one. Be safe!
Does my landlord have a duty to remove snow and ice?
Do business owners have a duty to remove snow and ice?
Does my work have to remove snow and ice?
Do I have to remove snow and Ice at my home?
The answer is yes, yes, yes and YES!!!
Massachusetts Laws require property to owners to use reasonable care to protect others from snow and ice on their property. (Also, many cities and municipalities have orders requiring property owners to also clean/clear abutting sidewalks - check you city/town rules).
Every winter, Scalli Murphy Law represents many wonderful people and families needlessly injured because a property owner failed to remove snow, clear walkways, stairs and parking lots or salt or sand icy areas. Broken ankles, legs, elbows or arms are almost a certainty in any slip and fall on snow or ice.
Please protect others this winter by removing snow, treating ice and using reasonable care to make sure no one is injured on your property.
Please also protect yourself by wearing shoes and boots with good grip, watch where you are walking (no text walking) and remember what was water during the day is likely ice at night.
Have a wonderful and safe winter.
