Superior Labrum Anterior to Posterior Lesion (SLAP) tears are typically caused by acute trauma or repetitive shoulder motion. After a car accident, fall onto an outstretched arm or shoulder dislocation, a #SLAPTear may result, causing a locking and pinching sensation. The radius is the larger of two bones in the forearm. The end of the bone that connects the wrist is called the distal end.
