Replacement of customers 2,000,000 btuh Bryan boiler (notice the size of that flue probably 30% wasted energy). The existing boiler is equipped with a separate heat ex-changer for domestic hot water or in this case process water for wash down of equipment in the plant. We designed a new system with priority control for the wash down water and three zones for the plant heating water. Very happy with the 500,000 btuh HTP boiler, Taco self adjusting pumps, and Taco 3 speed circulating zone pumps with integral flow check. The item that made the job work so well and easy to construct was the Taco 5900 Plus Flex balance Air/Dirt Separator to decouple the primary and secondary loop.
