Hurricane Delta is expected to re-strengthen into a major hurricane and become larger in size, while traversing the Gulf tonight through Thursday night.
Delta will approach the central Gulf Coast on Friday. Storm Surge Watches, and Hurricane and Tropical Storm Watches are up across the northwestern and central Gulf Coast. Life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds, and heavy rain and flooding are likely.

An important component of the performance-based education approach at School of Rock is to make our students aware of the countless individuals who have contributed to our favorite music. Rock music’s roots can be found in many genres, but particularly in blues, jazz, and gospel music. These styles originated in predominantly Black communities and were played predominantly by Black artists. School of Rock is proud to recognize and celebrate some of the most influential Black musicians to contemporary music, especially rock, over the last century.
Throughout the month of February, we will be sharing a handful of musician spotlight articles, each covering 10 different individuals who have influenced music as we know it. Although these spotlights are far from complete, we hope it will serve as a useful resource for musicians and music lovers everywhere. #BlackHistoryMonth
