We are very pleased that School of Rock Corporate has acted swiftly to come up with a solution for lessons so that we can continue to support, nurture, and continue our students’ music learning journey. And we’re able to keep our instructors employed and busy, which is a true blessing.
We have rolled out School of Rock Remote (SORR), which allows our instructors to hold lessons with students from the safety of home. We have already held a several days of School of Rock Remote lessons, and with the exception of some easily solvable issues, everyone has been pleased with how smoothly they went. All in all, this is an excellent solution to continue offering music instruction, with our unique School of Rock Songfirst approach. Fall Season 2020 starts soon with shows like "Renegades" -bands like Rage Against the Machine, Bad Brains & Black Flag. Keep an eye out for at least 4 rehearsals and 2 Rock 101 rehearsals for younger students. We will still be remote, but we're slowly getting the spot ready for when we can have our teachers in the building. In honor of 75 years of Bob Marley & his timeless music, School of Rock partnered with Universal Music Group Island Records Tuff Gong International & Bob Marley's grandson, Skip Marley to bring an uplifting message in these unusual times. School of Rock's 2020 AllStar musicians had the distinct privilege of recording a compilation music video that features Skip Marley's vocals to the song "Three Little Birds,", bringing with it a message of hope & positivity in our students' own voices. https://rocki.ng/32UPgLw
