School of Rock Performance-Based Music Programs Rock Socializing— With Social Distancing.
Kids have been inspired in the School of Rock community for the last 8 years, learning music by playing music– together. Through programs designed for all skill levels, students go from lessons and rehearsal to performance– developing confidence, talent and teamwork skills along the way. Students, ages 7 to 18 engage in a private, one-on-one lesson. Those weekly lessons come with a bonus: the chance to be a rock star. Once enrolled, students become part of a band as well, and play in a socially distanced rehearsal each week. Bands are determined by skill level and age. They practice together for a season (about 4 months) and then play a show. This unique approach allows students to use what they learn from their teacher in the real-world setting of a band– rocking on stage and in life.
