School of Rock student Lauren Frihauf debuts on 'The Voice'
The Performance Program is School of Rock's hallmark music program, where tens of thousands of students enroll each year. It consists of a weekly group rehearsal where kids and teens learn by playing rock music's most iconic songs with a band composed of their peers. Students are assigned songs and parts that are tailored to them based on their age, experience, and ability to learn new skills and concepts. Students then work through their parts in weekly private music lessons, and refine the skills and concepts that those songs introduce. The goal of this curriculum is to prepare kids and teens for live performances. Every few months, Performance Program students take the stage and play at local music venues in front of a live audience. Now available online

Rock 101 is one of School of Rock’s major programs for kids and beginners. It combines our core philosophy of performance-based music education with a unique curriculum designed for kids with no previous musical experience. Students have one weekly group rehearsal where they learn classic rock songs that have been simplified specifically for beginner musicians. These rehearsals get young musicians to learn the fundamentals of their instrument while playing with a band in a positive and fun atmosphere. Students also have a weekly private music lesson with an instructor who will help them rehearse performance songs while teaching them foundational music skills and concepts. Now available online
Little Wing is School of Rock's music program designed for our youngest students (mainly 3 to 5-year-olds). This music program for toddlers and preschoolers features a special curriculum where students play games and participate in other interactive activities to help them internalize the foundational skills they will use as their musical abilities grow. Little Wing students have one weekly group lesson in which they use classic rock songs to learn about rhythm, song structure, melody, and dynamics through play.
At School of Rock San Pedro, Mexico, is fLip Tamez, one of the first generation of musicians from Monterrey, Mexico, to be signed to a major label. His band Jumbo, a Avanzada Regia Alternative rock band, put out nine albums, went on numerous tours, was nominated for the Latin Grammy, and won several awards. He went on to pursue a solo career, releasing three albums of his own. Flip enjoys witnessing how music education can, “help form character and personality in a human being."

Rock Legends: 3-Day Winter Camp
We're offering two 3-Day Winter Camps in December! If you're looking for something fun to do during the day, or you're going to have a new instrument to learn, this is the jam!
Rock Legends Camp Dec. 21-23
9am to 3pm Daily
Designed for students ages 7-18, this camp will give students the opportunity to learn the music of some of the icons of Rock Music. We'll choose our songs based on the interests of the students enrolled, and recommend this camp for beginner through advanced students.
Rock 101 Camp: Dec. 28-30
9am to 3pm Daily
Designed for beginners ages 6-12, this camp is a great choice for kids who may have just received their first instrument and would enjoy diving right in to making music! We'll learn fun songs that are manageable for beginners, and enjoy making music and making some new friends, too! Students in this age group who already have some experience will also enjoy this camp.
