Tomorrow, our local Kern County energy industry will voice their opposition to Governor Newsom’s Administration officials about how their moratorium on widely-used production methods threatens our ability to power our state with reliable and affordable energy.
Governor Newsom’s moratorium is moving California AWAY from ENERGY INDEPENDENCE and instead California is now forced to import more foreign oil thousands of miles across our ocean from the Middle East during a time of instability.
This harms the environment and places a higher cost burden that Californians can not afford—the ultimate lose-lose outcome!
I hope the Governor’s administration will listen to our local experts and industry workers tomorrow and reverse his moratorium. Let’s make sure we share this important message: Kern County proudly powers our state.
