Got a call from a customer that their furnace was making a constant buzzing sound when it was running. Went out and found a dead bird in the exhaust motor. We recommended the customer both line and cap their chimney to prevent this in the future!

Picture of a long crack that we found in a heat exchanger of an old furnace we replaced last week. Cracks like these can leak carbon monoxide into your home so it's always best to either replace the heat exchanger or replace the furnace if found.
