The schemer will ask for personal identifiable information, such as your PIN or online banking log-in information.

Some easy ways to tell this is NOT from SECU:
1️⃣ The return email address. (Emails from SECU will always come from a SECU address.)
2️⃣ The link. (Always hover over a link in an email to make sure it is going to a legitimate website. If you do not recognize the website, do not click on the link.)
3️⃣ The email itself. (SECU will not email you out of the blue and ask you to provide sensitive information.)
4️⃣ The typos. (Emails from a legitimate company will rarely contain as many grammatical errors as in this email.)
