Southeast Michigan Construction Academy is a school created by the construction industry, for the construction industry; a growing industry that injects funds and new life into the community and creates the infrastructure critical to keeping the country moving forward. We provide hands-on training programs taught by masters in their craft. This education gives our students a competitive advantage in the field. Our curriculum is focused on apprenticeships in electrical, carpentry, sheet metal, and HVAC. Length of training varies but on average, most trades are 4-year programs that require 2 nights per week for 3 hours per night. A construction background is not necessary to apply, and accelerated programs are available for those with experience. South East Michigan Construction Academy holds accreditation with the National Center for Construction Education and Research who produces industry-recognized credentials that are portable, stackable, and nationally recognized. Our apprenticeship program is registered with the United States Department of Labor and is Approved by the State of Michigan. Ready to begin a rewarding career?
