It's that time of year, be sure that you check with your drug store and doctors’ offices to see if your current insurance plan that you have covering your Medicare benefits is good for 2021. We are noticing that several independent pharmacies are no longer showing preferred or they are showing as out of network for 2021. Please check with your drug store to see if your current plan needs to be changed to something else. If at all possible, please work with a local trusted insurance advisor and not someone that's calling you from 8 states over trying to sell you on your Medicare needs. Don't wait take care of it today make sure you're ready to rock and roll for 2021.

Medicare eligible people are now getting stuff in the mail that looks almost like it’s coming from Medicare and Social Security. Please be careful Medicare‘s number is one 800 Medicare and Social Security‘s number is 1-877-772-1213. If neither one of these numbers are on that paperwork or solicitation mail it’s not from Medicare or Social Security. Don’t fall victim to these mailers.
Happy Friday. Please be careful with the stuff that you open up soliciting your business for Medicare options. I had a client show me yesterday a letter that looked like it came from Medicare. Remember Medicare does not call you to help you enroll in a Medicare plan. Remember that Medicare‘s phone number is one 800 Medicare and that Social Security‘s number is 1-877-772-1213. Protect yourself ask your doctor ask your pharmacist who they recommend that you talk to in order to compare and shop and save on your Medicare options. It’s that time of year everyone make sure you do yourself a favor look at your Medicare options very closely. Make sure that you also understand that Medicare and Social Security will not call you to assist you and your Medicare options. Those are telemarketers who only work temporarily and are doing something else after Medicare season is over so you’re left by yourself to try to fix any problems that may occur after the new year starts. Be sure that you check your doctors your pharmacist that they are going to be excepting the new plan that you’re looking at don’t get caught off guard come January 1.
