Socks are the #1 most requested item at homeless shelters. Last week, we put out a call to our #SERVPRO of Chesterfield team to collect and donate brand new socks to celebrate Valentine's Day and help spread the love to those in need in our community.
In total, we collected 471 pairs of socks and donated them to Homeward, which serves as the planning and support agency working to prevent, reduce, and end homelessness in the Greater Richmond region. We are always here to help, especially to those in need. Great work, #TeamBahen!

“I started with SERVPRO of Chesterfield almost 11 years ago as a Production Technician and within 5 months, I was promoted to Crew Chief. I then worked my way to Senior Crew Chief and then into my current role as Project Manager. Over the years, I have gotten several industry certifications and have learned a ton of new skills that have carried over into my personal life.
What I like the most about this job is helping people. I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to help, so it is extremely gratifying being able to “come to the rescue” for someone in their time of need.

This week we were lucky to host two continuing education classes! Today’s class for our local insurance agents is all about understanding the restoration industry - restorative drying for water damage. We’re always happy to educate and help our agents complete their necessary industry credits.
Today we invited our local facility and maintenance managers out for an educational lunch and learn on understanding mold. As the restoration experts, we understand the importance of sharing the knowledge of our industry with our clients, giving them the tools and education they need to be prepared for whatever impacts their facilities.
