This is Trooper Derek Ljiljanich, SP Niagara.
Last month, he assisted in saving a missing 12-year-old with special needs on the Grand Island Bridge.
Police tried to talk with the girl, but she became frightened and quickly moved toward the edge of the bridge.
Trooper Ljiljanich was able to get to the girl and get her to safety.
