Candice Stott and Dakota Marks had a great time volunteering with Executive Director Susan Robertson who leads this wonderful cause!

Harsh freezing weather is coming over the next few days, so be sure to bring in your pets and plants. Wrap all exposed pipes located outside or in unheated areas of the home. Remove garden hoses from outside faucets. Insulate outside faucets with Styrofoam cover, rags or paper. Cover vents around the foundation of your home. We have a medium chance of disruptive weather for Thursday as a chilly rain will unfold across East Texas.
We will then have a high threat of disruptive weather starting Saturday night and lasting through at least the middle of next week as arctic air invades East Texas, putting us in the deep freeze for several nights.
In addition to the frigid temperatures, a wintry mix, including possible ice accumulations, will be highly likely on Monday.
Due to this extended cold wave, our First Alert Weather Days have been extended through next Wednesday.
