A big THANK YOU 👏 to Old Armor Beer Company and their customers. Earlier this summer the brewery sold two special beers, the Redline and the Blueline. A portion of the proceeds were donated to the Kannapolis Fire and Police Departments. The Redline proceeds ($6,320) will be used by the Fire Department for the Burned Children's Fund and the Blueline proceeds ($2,625) will go to the Cops Target Kids Christmas Charity Event. Thank you for helping us - help children in our community!👮♀️👮👩🚒👨🚒

⚠️ We are under a FLASH FLOOD WATCH from now until tomorrow as Tropical Storm Sally moves thru our area.
Widespread heavy rain showers and thunderstorms are predicted. This could mean flash flooding along smaller streams and creeks in our area.
Remember, flood waters are dangerous!
✅ Do NOT walk or drive through floodwaters.
✅ If you see a flooded road, Turn Around, Don't Drown!
Here are a few good tips to keep you safe if you experience floodwaters in your home.
Spot the differences between the two pictures and tell us how many you found!

UPDATE: The flash flood warning has been extended until 3:00 p.m.
Cabarrus County and Kannapolis are under a flash flood warning until 12:00 p.m. Some streets are flooding, and trees are down throughout the area.
Safrit Park and Rocky River Greenway are both closed due to flooding.
Garbage, recycling and other collections may be delayed today.
