Our firefighters in California continue to work to protect structures in the area. After fire comes through, they assist in burning out pockets of unburned material to eliminate any remaining potential threat and then extinguish hot spots around residences so citizens may return to their homes. Next week, this crew will return home and four other Round Rock firefighters will travel west to take their place for the following two weeks.
