Conner Endsley is one of the Production Technicians with our SERVPRO of San Marcos/New Braunfels franchise.
He holds a Water Restoration and Mold Remediation certification, as well as one in HVAC.
Conner’s background in construction is quite extensive. He has experience in residential and commercial painting, sheetrock installation, flooring, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
Born in Colorado, this older brother to 3 siblings spent most of his youth in South Carolina, then later located to New Braunfels with his family.
Conner is always willing to step up and volunteers to work any time help is needed. When he is off the clock, Conner enjoys riding dirt bikes, fishing, and hunting.
An interesting fact about this former Carolinian is that he won a National Writing Contest with a persuasive essay in the 9th Grade.

Rick Acevedo is a seasoned production technician with our franchise.
He originally started with SERVPRO of San Marcos/New Braunfels in the earlier days and has worked with the company on-and-off for 13 years.
Born and raised in New Braunfels, Rick holds a certification in water restoration, carpet, and upholstery. He also has experience in aluminum fascia bending and installing vinyl siding.
In his spare time, this Texas native enjoys swimming with his son and going fishing. A fun fact about Rick is he had the opportunity to travel to Alaska for a fishing trip where he caught a 36 lbs. king salmon. During that visit, that salmon was only 1 pound away from the Elfin Cove Lodge record for the week.

Born and raised in Elgin, Texas, this father to one son and one daughter served in both the National Guard and Army. During his six years with the National Guard, Dennis worked as a Motor Pool Sergeant then spent four years with the United States Army as a Hawk Missile Launcher Crewman.
This Native Texan once resided in Germany for two years as part of his military orders. He even had the opportunity to spend time in both Paris and Switzerland.
In his spare time, you'll find Dennis partaking in his favorite pastime, detailing vehicles.

Several San Marcos Electric Utility customers have asked if their utility rates will spike, as has been reported in state and national media. There will be no increase in rates for SMEU customers. SMEU is a municipal utility owned by the City of San Marcos, and rates are set by City rate ordinances in coordination with the City budget process. However, customer usage will likely be much higher than normal due to nearly two weeks of extreme cold weather we have experienced, which may result in higher than normal bills this billing period.

Water Station Open on Sunday from 9am to 3pm
Those in need of water can go to the New Braunfels Civic Center at 375 S. Castell Avenue, in New Braunfels. The location will have a marked route indicating the flow of traffic.
Residents need to bring their containers, sizes up to a five-gallon bucket, to the water station for filling.
Besides water direct from the NBU water system (which is still subject to the boil water notice), the water station is also offering water that has gone through a purification process, eliminating the need to boil the water. Simply bring your container to the Civic Center (Castell St. Entrance) and request the purified water.

NBU has completed flushing the system and collecting water samples. The samples are currently en route to the laboratory for what’s called bacteriological testing. Unfortunately this test takes 24 hours. We expect to have results by 5:00 p.m., tomorrow. We will let you know as soon as we have these results. We have approval from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to rescind the Boil Water Notice for all pressure zones with passing tests. In other words, if some tests fail, we may not rescind the Boil Water Notice in those areas where the test failed.

Juan Ayala is a technician with SERVPRO of San Marcos/New Braunfels.
Born and raised in Klamath Falls, Oregon, Juan later relocated to the San Marcos area with his family. He is the middle child with two sisters and cares for two fur babies that are cats. Juan is also the son of our franchise’s Job File Coordinator, Helen Wright.
When he is not working, Juan enjoys fishing and reading a good book. Interestingly, this former Oregonian hopes to one day publish a fictional novel based in the fantasy genre.

During today's New Braunfels Women's Business Alliance luncheon, attendees had the opportunity to watch a brief demonstration on self-defense from Gracie Jiu-Jitsu New Braunfels then listened to a panel made up of bankers from Moody National Bank, Prosperity Bank, Jefferson Bank, and Sage Capital Bank while enjoying a meal prepared by Jason's Deli.
Sales Representative, Doshie Del'Nero presented the winner of the drawing with a gift card from Uwe's Bakery & Deli with some fun treats and Servpro San Marcos-New Braunfels swag.

It is with a very heavy heart that our company announces the passing of our employee and dear friend Dennis (Elson) Reese.
Born and raised in Elgin, Texas, Dennis recently celebrated his wedding anniversary with his bride of 25 years. A father to one son and one daughter, Dennis served in both the National Guard and Army. During his six years with the National Guard, he worked as a Motor Pool Sergeant then spent four years with the United States Army as a Hawk Missile Launcher Crewman.
Dennis also had the opportunity to travel the world. He spent time in both Paris and Switzerland and even resided in Germany for two years as part of his military orders. His favorite pastime was detailing vehicles.
Dennis had such a cheerful demeanor and positive attitude that never faltered. His respectful and kind personality was like a ray of sunshine on a rainy day. We will miss his sense of humor, his laugh, and his generous nature.
Rest in peace Dennis.
Your SERVPRO family will never forget you.
