We have had so many customers ask when we are going to start classes. We have been shorthanded as our staff has not all been able to return and to teach classes, I need to have coverage on the floor for those customers coming in to shop. We are working very hard to get back to business and hope to offer some classes in October. We will let you know soon what those plans will include. Thanks for your loyalty and your patience.

FYI.....We just received a shipment of machines from Janome and Babylock. we ordered these machine before August and supplies won't last long and we don't know when the next shipment will be available. If you are looking to get a new machine for Christmas now would be the time to come in and at least put it on layaway. Our deliveries on many things have been delayed because of Covid so we want our customers to get what they need now.

Tomorrow at 9:30 we are having embroidery club. we only have openings for 2 more. We are also offering it at 3:00 p after closing. We will be sitting out by the sewing machine area to social distance. If you want to come please call the store. I will be in at 9:00am to get any calls. You can only come by registering ahead so we stay within our limit of how many in a class is allowed. thanks for your patience during this Pandemic. We are making gift boxes in several sizes in the hoop.

UPDATES FOR JANOME MACHINES. It may be time for you to check what version your machine is on. When you turn on your machine look at the bottom right hand corner to see the version number. if you miss it, turn your machine off and on again. Here is the janome site to go to and check if you are up to date. the instructions are there on how to do but if you have trouble call us at 847 356 5100. Our covid hours are still 11-3 Monday through Saturday.

Here is a tip for how to keep basting spray off of your hoops and it is entirely free! Just use the trays meat and some veggies are packed on from the supermarket and cut out the center. I have some for every size hoop I have.
saw this on facebook and wanted to share it. One picture shows babylock solaris' projector with the sewing machine lights on and the lights off. this is a game changer. Just go into the settings pages and turn the lights off. You may have to change the background on the projector page. any questions call our store at 847 356 5100
