In 1996, I started my first company as Sharonʻs Homemade Sensations." About 2 years later I hired Brian, another baker to work with me to create new techniques and shortcuts. Then in 2002, I changed my name from Sharon's Homemade Sensations to Shabri of Hawaii and became a corporation under the ownership of Sharon and Tommy Lum.
Baking for my family and friends has always been a hobby I've enjoyed since the early 70s because of the positive feedback I'd continually receive from all who ate my creations! Over the years everyone I've shared my deserts with has encouraged me to "start my own business". After many years of hard work and many obstacles, I finally took the leap and did it! Since then our business has been nothing but a success! People from around the world have given us so much positive feedback and the smiles on their faces make our business worth the journey.
Through the years, our journey has taken us to the Made in Hawaii and Seasons Best craft fairs at the Neil Blaisdell Arena, Kapiolani Park Art Fest, Ward Center, Windward Community College, Aliolani Elementary to name a few. Through the years, we've met many people and made new friends as they have remained today our loyal customers. Therefore, weʻre excited to announce a new chapter in our business launching our products on our new webpage for those wanting to order online. This would make it easier for those wanting the convenience of ordering online without leaving the comfort of their homes!
Weʻve enjoyed baking these "ono" treats for you for the past 23 years. We’ve always used the finest ingredients in our products so that after one taste, youʻll remember grandmaʻs homemade tasting treats like the good old days.
Thank you for all your continued support and loyalty through the years. We appreciate you letting us add a "little more sweetness in your lives."
