There are several methods of installing a geothermal loop field. Have you ever wandered what it looks like down in the trenches?? Here are a few pics of a horizontal loop that we installed on a new construction home this week. The type of loop that we install typically depends on the room that’s available on the property. As you can see, this is a 3 ton system and the trenches are fairly long.
If you don’t have this much land or live in town, no worries! There’s ways of still installing a properly designed loop for you as well! We have geothermal systems on farms, in the country, in subdivisions, in multiple cities limits, and suburbs. Training is huge for us all here at Shafer Heating & Cooling! We have made a few updates in our training room with additional marker boards and most importantly posting on the walls our Core Principles, Core Values, Core Philosophy, Our Mission Statement, Who our Clients are, Our Vision, and our Primary Purpose. These are who we are, how we make our decisions, and how we continue to provide WOW Customer Service to our clients every day!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! We have all been through some trying times for sure this year but even with everything that has happened, we all still have so much to be thankful for!!
