What exactly are dorsal aesthetic lines?
Dorsal aesthetic lines are the gently curving lines between the inner most aspect of the eyebrow that follows through to the tip of the nose. These lines define the appearance of the dorsum from the frontal view and are one of the most important parameters for an aesthetically attractive nose and rhinoplasty result, often seen on models noses.
Side angle before and after photos tend to show add the most dramatic result of a rhinoplasty, but we encourage patients considering this procedure to pay close attention to the frontal view as it is a very important part of the end result, with technical expertise being crucial.
