Beginning at 7:30 am today, front-line physicians and team members with Sharp HealthCare began receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. We will begin vaccinating patients in our skilled nursing facilities next week. As we receive news of the vaccine supply line into 2021, we will provide updates on how the vaccine will be provided to all of our patients. Now for a feel good Friday story. Sharp Rees-Stealy patient Francesca, a professional violinist, surprised her oncologist, Dr. Hardeep Phull, with a personal concert as a way to show her appreciation for all the care she has received. Dr. Phull was so moved by the beautiful music, he said "I want this to inspire other doctors who are feeling like I did, who are tired and exhausted and just needed something inspiring for a change."
