Dr. Sheeja Schuster is a pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine physician in Thousand Oaks. She is a generalist who sees patients with a broad range of pulmonary and sleep medicine conditions. She is board certified in pulmonary disease, sleep medicine and internal medicine.
Dr. Schuster received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and earned her Master of Public Health degree from the UT Health Science Center at Houston. She graduated medical school with the highest distinction and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed her training in both Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. During her time there, she simultaneously completed training in the global health program. She went on to complete her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at New York University.
She is a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP). In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking and reading.
