Metabolic Monday: What's in a cup? Probably the most common statement we hear from owners is "But he only gets a cup of food!" and then after a little more questioning we find out it's an Eskimo Joe's cup or a Big Gulp/Big Q. 😁 Don't worry, that's what we use too, BUT it's important to know how much food is actually in that "cup"! You might be overfeeding your pet if you don't know what actual measurement your "cup" contains. (Joe's cups hold about 2.5 cups--a Big Gulp/Big Q is not quite 4 cups!!)
Metabolic Monday: Our first tip is that you can't know where to go unless you know where you are! Meaning getting an accurate weight on your pet and having a conversation with your veterinarian about your pet's current weight and ideal weight is a key factor in improving your pet's health. Even though we are still curbside you can bring your pet by anytime and have us weigh them--free of charge!

It's Metabolic Monday with Metabolic Minnie!!! Minnie is doing amazing on her weight loss journey and has lost 2 lbs since December.
