The difference between a skylight and an ordinary window? Skylights are not vertical! This means, despite careful installation, that they often let water in. Skylight leaks are not always visibly apparent, so it's important to have them thoroughly inspected! 💧

In the past, it was thought that horizontal foundation cracks were "bad" and vertical ones were "okay", but this is no longer the case. Vertical cracks can eventually map off if there is a pyrrhotite presence within the concrete foundation.
