Happy Bosses Day Maggie! While you have been celebrating the teams throughout the hospital this week we hope you know we couldn’t be the great team we are without you!
Staff Appreciation! Last but certainly not least---our hospital pets! And what a better day than "Bosses Day" because honestly, they really our the bosses around here!
Pirate, Abby and Sassy sure know how to keep us all in line. They make sure to tell us when their bowls are low (not even empty, just low), when they need scratches while they eat, and most important, when their blankets need fluffed. While they do run a tight ship, they sure do make us smile and keep our days even more interesting than they already are! We sure do love these girls!

Our next doctor to introduce is Dr. Curran! Dr. Kevin Curran grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and earned a degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before starting veterinary school he married his high school sweetheart Meredith. He attended his first two years of veterinary school in Lincoln before completing his second two years and graduating from Iowa State University in 2020. During veterinary school he and his wife had a son, Callum, and a daughter, Sage. Dr. Curran has special interest in small animal dermatology, exotic animal medicine and giant breed dogs, originating in large part from the love of his Great Dane, Norman. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, and being outdoors.
Happy Walk Your Pet Month! Getting exercise and fresh-air is a great activity for you and your pet to do together. Where is your favorite place to take your pet on a walk?
Today we are thrilled to introduce you to Dr. Walker! Dr. Kiley Walker grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania. She graduated from The University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio with a Bachelor of Science in 2016. She then went on to veterinary school at Mississippi State University where she received her DVM in 2020. During veterinary school, she spent some time working with wildlife in Belize as well as various locations across the United States. She is proud to be fear free certified. Her special interests include internal medicine and ultrasound as well as wildlife and exotic animal medicine. She is excited to develop relationships with her patients and clients. Kiley has a cat named Frederick and a Newfoundland named Gus. She spends her free time hiking, camping, and backpacking with her husband, Patrick.
Covid changed the world for all of us. We implemented new procedures at our hospital and had to limit all access to our lobby for the safety of our clients and staff. We wanted to re-introduce our doctors to you so you can put a face to the voice you hear over the phone. Each day this week, we will have a "meet the doctor" post so you can get to know them a little better!
To start it off, meet Dr. Marci Cook! Dr. Cook is originally from Billings and is a 1995 graduate of Colorado State University. She joined Shiloh Vet in June 2000. She is married to Rip, who works as a director/producer for Max Media during football season and Northwestern Video Livestock Auction during the off season. They have a son, Adrian, who is a big animal lover. Marci has developed special interests in ultrasound, especially cardiology, and internal medicine. She has 3 dogs, Badger, Carley, and Lyric, and a cat, Wulfie. Her outside interests include TV sport graphics, horseback riding, hiking and backpacking.
January is Walk Your Pet Month. What better way to walk into the New Year than making sure that your pet’s health is as good as it can be! In addition to daily walks or exercise for your four-legged friend, it is also important to bring them in for regular check-ups. Schedule their next wellness exam today!
