June stopped in for a heavy trim and a de shed today. She looks and feels fabulous. She is a sweet girl too!
These two sweethearts stopped in to get fresh after Covid! Call 586-772-7774 or private message. We have expanded hours and have immediate availability!
Because of expanding our hours throughout the last month, we have available appointments this week! Please share, because many people are looking for a groomer with openings as some shops are remaining closed or do not yet have availability!
We are excited to announce that it is 100% certain we will be able to open on the 29th. For an appointment, please call the shop at 586-772-7774 and leave a message or private message on Facebook. We will contact you as soon as possible to set up a time accommodate your furry friend!
Thank you for sharing these two little lions 🦁! They are too cute!
The fabulous Miss Izzy before and after dematting/full grooming service. She likes to roll in the snow and had a somewhat tangled coat that her mother and I have been trying to grow out for months now. Had to sacrifice some more length than I originally wanted to but she still was able to keep her Bouvier style for Christmas!
Hi friends! Today this shepherd named Ralpie came in with a totally impacted undercoat! He feels much better after we blew all that hair out of him and gave him a nice bath! A painless almost brush free removal method! Do you know a dog who had a coat like this? We know what to do!
Charlie’s Mom made an adorable before and after to share. She was ready to go short on the beard for easier maintenance. How adorable is Charlie!
Logan is looking festive under the tree after his appointment this morning!
Winston can’t stop wagging his tail. He is in a #C guard comb with a “doodle” face, eyes thinned rather than shaved out and a slightly natural looking beard finish.
Here is an article by an excellent groomer about the ins and outs of keeping a dogs hair longer and why it sometimes isn’t possible or the best option. There is also plenty of good advice on how to maintain your pets coat!

And here is a special little girl named Carly under her tree! She is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet!
Our customers are creative photographers! Minnie just got home from her appointment and sent in this adorable gem!
Here is a continued video explaining the reality behind a matted coat
Here is a friend who is matted up, I’m going to try to show and explain why a severely matted pet cannot and should not be brushed out

Does your dog get snow/ice clumps on their hair / fur when they go out in the snow. My awesome friend Irina told me about a hack she heard of - use a whisk (yes, from the kitchen!) Total game changer!!! I added a video of Abby’s friend Finn on how it worked for him today 🐾 follow Abby on Instagram abby_australian_labradoodle. OVER A MILLION VIEWS!!!!!

It’s a Shamrockin’ day at Shores Grooming !
This is Astral. He was turned away today at another shop after his parents drove out 40 minutes from Troy. He was a first time seven month old puppy and a bit tangled up. So adorable and such a good boy!!
