Than you to the Salvation Army of Oroville and Chico for providing much needed LAC gift cards to assist (#northcomplexwestzone) #BearFire survivors! Butte County opened up their Local Assistance Center (LAC) on Tuesday, September 22nd at 1875 Feather River Blvd., in Oroville providing resources and aiding survivors of the #BearFire (#northcomplexwestzone). The LAC is a place to connect with the resources needed to recover. There are County, State, and Nonprofit agencies present to answer questions and provide assistance.
The Sierra Central Oroville Branch Team, Regional and Marketing staff along with CEO John Cassidy would like to thank Kate Von Dolsen, Arwyn Rodriguera, Michael Dominquez, and the Salvation Army Organization for the support they are providing at the LAC.

The Sierra Central Oroville Branch Team, Regional and Marketing staff along with CEO John Cassidy, would like to thank Captain Dan Newman, Keith Crawford, and the entire Butte County Search & Rescue team for their dedication, tireless work, and assistance they are providing for the #NorthComplexWestZone fire. Butte Search & Rescue, a volunteer group, have been putting in long days assisting with the overhead and search duties on the #NorthComplexWestZone since September 8th and it doesn't stop there, since the fire they have responded to several water rescues in the county.
Sierra Central is proud to be able to assist them with the purchasing of much needed protective equipment, like P100 and N95 Masks. They are actively raising funds to purchase more protective gear and to service their beaten up Polaris Rangers that they are using to transport people in and around #NorthComplexWestZone.

Their fundraising event "Helicopter Ball Drop" at Canyon Oaks Country Club is scheduled for Monday, September 28, 2020. If you would like to purchase a ball, they are still available at the Canyon Oaks Pro Shop now until Saturday evening. They will be contacting winners beginning Tuesday morning and will release a video of the drop later next week.
