For more than 27 years, Jerome Escuriex has worked for numerous upscale restaurants such as the famed Windsor Court Grill Room and Broussard’s Restaurant in New Orleans, Lafitte’s Landing and Louisiana’s Restaurant Executive Chef for John Folse, and other restaurants throughout South Louisiana. Born in New Iberia, Louisiana, Chef Escuriex started his culinary career as a young man, catering parties for friends at duck hunting camps and private dinner parties. His love and passion for food paved a way for a professional career as a chef, first studying at Lafayette Regional in Culinary Arts, then making his way to the famed Culinary Institute of America in New York. Chef Escuriex has won numerous awards in culinary competitions such as American Culinary Federation Baton Rouge Culinary Classics, Lafayette La Culinary Classics, and Louisiana Seafood Challenge in Lafayette, Louisiana Regional Seafood Challenge . He has given cooking demonstrations for the governor’s inauguration, and appeared throughout South Louisiana newspapers, the cover of Lifestyles of Acadiana, and Louisiana Conservationist magazines. The last 12 years were spent with Sodexho as Executive Chef Running food services feeding 3500 ppl. a day and banquets up to 1000 ppl. 680 ppl.
