Boise Police Department December 27, 2020 at 10:31 AM · A good reminder to drivers, when the conditions are bad, you need to slow down. Last night both the inbound and outbound connector had to be temporarily shut down. Intense fog and icy roads lead to multiple wrecks and slide offs on the flyover. While investigating a crash, one of our officers had to jump out of the way to avoid being hit by another vehicle. He’s fine but his patrol vehicle was totaled. As we move further into winter here’s a reminder to always drive to the conditions. Slow down and stay safe.
