❤️February is American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness of heart disease, which is the #1 killer of Americans. ❤️ This year's heart month is especially important, as it becomes evident that COVID-19 can negatively affect the heart and vascular system's overall health.
The good news is that in most cases, heart disease is preventable! Reduce your risk of heart disease by: not smoking or quitting smoking, controlling blood sugar and cholesterol, treating high blood pressure, getting 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week, and attending regular check ups!
