Weird stain on the ceiling? Don't ignore it. In this case, it turned out to be a badly deteriorating cast iron drain from the second floor. This pipe was ready to fall apart and cause some major damage. We were able to go in early in the morning and replace the failing line before the hospital opened for patients.
