Developers are moving closer to breaking ground on a residential development at the former Lost Canyons Golf Club, located in Simi Valley Big Sky community.
On Sept. 2, the Simi Valley Planning Commission gave final design and architectural approval for the first phase of the 364-home project at 3301 Lost Canyons Drive. Commission members signed off on architectural designs, floor plans and landscaping as well as plot plans that show were homes will be situated on each lot, said Stratis Perros, Simi’s environmental services director..
“The city supports a diversity of housing types, and this project brings a high-end housing product located in a natural setting,” Perros told the Acorn.
“It will reestablish and upgrade a dormant golf course into a top-end community facility and will dedicate open space with hiking trails that can be used by everyone.”
