Wayne Local School District is giving back via The Waynesville Way Initiative- established in the fall of 2018, to engage adults in the growth of the community as a whole. The initiative’s vision is a future where all children, teens, young adults, and community members have the support of one another in order for us to all thrive.
Pat Foley, of Simpkins Foley Insurance, a long time resident of the Waynesville Community took time to go and see this amazing program in action. Anna Garafolo of Wayne Local Schools was gracious enough to show Pat around so he could see first hand how this much needed program helps so many people in need.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic the local Community Groups are all stepping up to the plate to make sure that those who are in need due to illness, laid off workers, or homebound seniors that may need food or medication get what they need.
