This is Faux Bone Inlay, inspired by traditional Indian furniture. Use with Old White and Pearlescent Glaze for an authentic - and beautiful - mother of pearl look.

It’s all in the details! This is for those of you who wanted a closer look at the brand new range of Annie Sloan stencils.
First up, we have Meadow Flowers. This design was inspired by the flora of Port Meadow here in Oxford.
One very unsurprising constant of design throughout cultures and ages is to look to one’s environment – to the botanicals, the flora and the fauna of outdoors - for inspiration indoors. So that’s what I did, here in Oxford!
Like all the best designs, this stencil is supremely adaptable. We used really bright, bold, primary colours over a base of Chalk Paint® Napoleonic Blue and overlapped the stencil for a contemporary, colourful look. If your style is less maximalist, choose a tonal neutral for a charmingly subtle way to bring interest to a space. If you’ve recently got your mitts on my Metallic Leaf, consider how beautiful a field of elegant blooms in gold, silver or copper would look glinting on your furniture!

Announcing!! The Big Paint: An International Online Workshop
(EEEEEEH!!! I'm so excited I can finally tell you about this!)
For the very first time, Annie Sloan Stockists all around the world will be hosting the same workshop over one week (February 1-7)
as part of our new Support Local campaign. We’re using our incredible network of independent businesses to bring a global event to your local community. Enabling you to support your high street from the comfort of your own home. Invite friends and be “together apart” - all whilst learning a fun new skill. You’ll finish with a beautifully painted tray for your home, some newfound confidence, and the delicious satisfaction of creative fulfillment.
The workshop kit has been designed and created by Annie Sloan herself and will be sent ahead of the workshop, right to your front door. Straightforward instructions will be provided to help you log into your online workshop, where you will join other people from your local community. We will be on hand for all the technical and practical advice you might need.
The workshop kit includes everything you will need for the session, so beginners will have nothing to worry about!
You will receive:
• 3 x 120ml pots of Chalk Paint®
• 1 x 120ml of Clear Chalk Paint® Wax
• 1 x Small Flat Brush
• 1 x bespoke limited-edition stencil exclusive to the workshop
• and a wooden tray sourced from Annie’s trip to India earlier this year.
During the workshop, we will teach you all about Chalk Paint® and will show you step-by-step how to create your very own painted tray. We will answer all the Chalk Paint® questions you’ve ever had (and probably some more besides). You’ll leave with new confidence to begin your own projects and enough leftover product to start immediately.
