At this time, trick or treating is scheduled in Fort Dodge on Halloween from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. However, we will continue to follow CDC and Webster County Public Health information and guidelines related to COVID-19 and, if needed, will make adjustments and/or issue safety tips related to trick or treating.
We ask that all citizens use their own judgement when making a decision to participate in Beggars' Night. If you choose to participate, please take all precautions to protect yourself and your families.

The City of Fort Dodge is excited to announce its spring/summer bulk collection program - JUNK DAYS ON DEMAND! What is that you ask? Exactly what it sounds like. You set up your junk day on your schedule. (NOTE - There will NOT be Spring Clean Up in April/May.)
Beginning mid-May 2021, you can schedule a bulk pick up request on your garbage pick up day. It’s simple. Just text the word “JUNK” to (515) 408-9888 and follow the prompts. Once you get confirmation your request has been submitted, have your items out no later than 5:00 am on your garbage day. Need more than one day? No problem. We’re planning on running the program through at least mid-August.
